Central Oklahoma Society of Tole
and Decorative Painters
WHAT IS A TOLE DIGGER?
The Central Oklahoma Society of Tole and Decorative
Painters Inc., also known as Tole Diggers, is a chapter of the Society
of Decorative Painters. We were affiliated in 1973. That same year
we held our first regional painting convention, Tole Country.
WHAT DOES A TOLE DIGGER DO?
Service Projects: The Tole Diggers are always busy
with community service projects. Some of our projects include donating
hand painted Keepsake Boxes to hospitals for seriously ill children,
collecting aluminum pop top tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Program,
and contributing to the Junior Arts Program and much more.
TOLE COUNTRY:
Our chapter members are the heart and hands behind
Tole Country. Each year we present this regional convention as part
of our commitment to share our love of painting. Our chapter purpose
is to stimulate interest, education and appreciation for the art
of decorative painting, and we feel our convention is the best way
to achieve this goal.
MEETINGS:
Guests are always welcome to share in our monthly activities.
There are either demos or hands on activities at every meeting.
For a very exciting evening we invite you to join us at the Putman
City Christian Church Fellowship Hall located at NW 42nd St. and
Grove Ave. We meet at 6:30 pm on the second Monday of each Month.
For more information please visit our Contacts Page
and get in touch with any of Chapter officer listed there.
